9th District Georgia Congressman Tom Graves visits Ringgold on Wednesday. The Catoosa County Tea Party invited Graves to speak to his constituents.
"My theory is this, if you're going to be their voice and you're going to represent their district, you got to be a part of the district, you got to be very active, very involved. And that's why I'm very involved and very engaged in all areas of our district," says Graves.
Could that also be why Presidential Candidate Newt Gingrich is coming to Dalton?
"I think as governor Romney is discovering you can't take your home state for granted, all of a sudden things can go really sour," says Gingrich.
News 12 confirms Gingrich will visit the Northwest Trade and Convention Center on February 28th. While Graves says he is not endorsing any of the candidates, he feels it's important for the politicians to visit and understand the issues in Northwest Georgia.
"In Northwest Georgia it's very important to know that they care, that they are concerned, and they understand the issues of manufacturing, water, all those, transportation, all those important issues of the region," says Graves.
Gingrich's website says quote "I want win Georgia by the biggest possible margin." So far, he's the only candidate to make a stop in Dalton, which has Dalton Tea Party Organizer, Naomi Swanson, excited.
"We're excited to have him and we look forward to a real patriotic rally, not just a candidate rally," says Swanson.
Insider Advantage has Gingrich winning his home state on Super Tuesday, but by a narrow margin. Many speculate if Gingrich doesn't win Georgia, he's out in the race for President.

Firefighters arrived at the scene after a call that the Strikers Winery was up in flames. Investigators say it looks like arson.
McMinn County Rescue Squad and the Clearwater Rural Fire Department responded to the structure fire in Athens, Tennessee Monday evening around 7 o'clock.
It appeared that there might have been some accelerant used on the outside of the building and on the deck area. Fire got into the attic, but it did not burn through the roof. Firefighters put out the flames within 20 minutes.
The owners were not present at the time, and they do not have any surveillance video. The business suffered an estimated $70,000 to $90,000 in structural, smoke and water damage.
McMinn County Rescue Squad Chief, Harold Eaton said, "We just thought it was best for the bomb and arson squad to come in and do an investigation due to the business, and due to the amount and extent of the damage that was done inside."
Aside from the fire, another crime remains unsolved at the Striker Winery. In 2000, the owner's wife, Patty Striker, was robbed and murdered one morning while working at the winery.
There is no connection between the fire and that tradegy at this time. It is also unknown if the winery has plans to reopen in the future.
